Peripheral Pumps
Also known as regenerative or regenerative pumps have a similar appearance to a centrifugal pump, however the internals of the pump are different which allows liquid to be sucked through a suction flange and directed into a channel. This channel contains the peripheral impeller which rotates and transforms the liquid in a centrifugal motion. This allows the pump to provide high discharge heads at low flow rates using low powered motors. Peripheral Pumps can be used in both commercial and domestic settings for a range of different applications including hot water systems and pressure boosting.
