The compact, tried-and-true design is efficient and reliable for heating and air conditioning. The installation's water contains air, which can cause corrosion and reduce thermal transfer. A Flexvent is installed in areas where air collects.

The air is collected in the Flexvent by the float, causing the float to drop and the air release valve to open. The water pressure then pushes the air out, raising the float and closing the valve. The air cushion in the upper part of each Flexvent keeps the valve seat clean.

To prevent leaks, a protective cap with expansion sealer rings is included. There is a significant distance between the water and the closing mechanism, which reduces the possibility of contamination. Please note, this model does not include a shut-off valve.
