Assembly Option

Have peace of mind and choose onsite assembly for your sectional water storage tank. Instructing us to undertake the assembly of your sectional tank means you will have confidence that professional engineers, all of whom have current CSCS cards, asbestos awareness training, and confined space certification, will assemble the tank on site. All engineers are exclusively employed by the tank manufacturer, are trained to comprehend all water regulations in accordance with WRAS, and will make sure your tank installation complies with all current regulations to avoid any potential problems after installation.

To ensure that the environment meets all requirements for a successful and safe assembly, our engineers will inspect the entire area when they arrive on site, including the base. As long as a representative on site can determine where the connections should be installed, the engineers will additionally drill and install any connections ordered with the tank.

Please note - You must agree and confirm that all tank components will be transported to the location where the tank is to be installed before the engineer arrives on site if you choose the onsite assembly option.

When the assembly is finished, engineers will request that your designated site contact inspect the work and sign to indicate their satisfaction.  A copy of this paperwork will be given to your site contact. It will include instructions that must be followed including filling the tank within 10 days and transmitting proof of this to a specified email address. It is crucial that you follow these instructions in order to validate your warranty. Once complete, you will receive a fully guaranteed tank that will cover all parts and the assembly itself for a full year from the date of assembly.

Important Information

All Complete Pump Supplies tanks must be fully supported on a flat, level & continuous foundation providing structural support to the tank when full to maximum operating capacity. It is essential that the user refers to the conditions of installation document prior to the installation of the tank.

Under no circumstances should the tank body be used to provide support to pipework and ancillary items. The tank lid is a structural part of the tank and must be in place and fitted correctly when water is contained within the tank.

IFB tanks must have a working clearance of at least 500mm all around, 600mm above the height of the man-way, and/or 350mm above any raised float valve housing, and for tanks constructed on supports, a minimum of 500mm access height to the underside of the tank.

GRP Sectional Tanks must be filled within 10 days of assembly. Evidence of this must be sent to us ASAP as failure to do so will invalidate the warranty of the water tank.

Failure to select the correct delivery and assembly zones will result in your order being cancelled.
