15mm (1/2") Equilibrium Float Valve C/W Float

To control the flow of water into water cisterns and tanks is the use of float valves. A float on the water inside a tank is attached to an arm which operates a valve which controls the inflow of water - as the water level in the tank drops, the arm falls and opens the valve to allow water to enter the tank; then as the water flows in, the water level rises, as does the ball thus moving the arm which then closes the valve shutting off the water flow.

Male BSP threaded equilibrium float valves complete with high quality copper float are reliable, simple and robust and can self-compensate for changes in water supply pressures, the hydraulically balanced closing action gives fast, quiet and smooth shut-off. Standard valve with float to suit fitting into the tank body to provide conventional air gap arrangement (AG or AF).

Valves are available in 1/2” to 4” sizes with BSP male threaded inlet stub. One size of seat and one size of ball float will suit any working pressure up to the maximum recommendation of 5 bar whilst still maintaining a fast, quiet and smooth shut off action.  Design and selection of materials gives high strength for installation and operation, and corrosion resistance for long life. The body of the valve is made from corrosion immune Gunmetal giving years of trouble free service.
